That's the way I got it, what should I put it in than?

So from what I've been able to find out is this is his very first baseball card from his junior year if high school, there was an article in the Lansing post about him and they had a picture of it and that's the only info I've been able to unearth.

For me, a penny sleeve and toploader. Lots of other collectors prefer CardSaver I

Looks like the card is even slightly bigger than the indent of the screw down holder (right edge) and some oily stuff on the bottom. Get that thing out of there. AMAZING card!!

Not for sale, but I have one. It's a tough card to find, that's for sure. I heard John's father had a bunch made for family and friends, but I don't know if that's true. Unfortunately, none of the grading companies will slab it.

That's my understanding, as well. I have a saved scan from another similar card from when he worked out at Tiger Stadium.

Yea wish there was a way to get ahold of this guy, he hasn't been active in 4 months so who knows if he will ever get on again and check, guys I can only wait and hope!

Any ideas on what this maybe worth giving the rarity and it being signed, I have a bunch of cards that my uncle gave to me after we had a house fire when I was younger, I'm sure most of them are just filler cards but I've never really got much into it so have no idea where to start!

It’s me!!! After four months. While searching on eBay’s sold searches, apparently, I missed a signed one two weeks ago sold for $10. Ugh. I currently own two of them: One from his tryout with Detroit and another from his minor league days. I’ve missed out on the Waverly three times. Do I have bad timing or what?

You can set up an ebay search that will automatically email you when another one comes up.
