I was curious if other members saw anything remarkable at the ANA?
I was talking to John Schwartz at the local library who said that a local group went pre-dawn and returned the same night without finding much that was impressive.

I think small size & errors were doing quite well.
I picked up this monster error note .
I thought the large size was getting strong prices.

BTW, those $100 FRN Red Seals are stunning. Never seen a cut sheet before!

Love that accordion error note Cliff .
Yeah, I count Nine gutter fold lines
It boggles the mind how that was made - a major crumpling
I'm shocked that it got that much circulation!
I bought about 17 notes on the floor but only one for my collection. The rest are just inventory.
You have better eyes that I do! I was thinking 6 maybe 7. Looking at it a bit closer, you may be right! I've never seen so many gutter folds on one bill specially one that has seen so much circulation.
Thanks guys for sharing !!!
I'm looking at the reverse and counting hard gather lines, I see three just in that last lower fanning - the rollers must have been super dirty to slip then catch, slip then catch, ... lather, rinse, repeat.
I'm more of an exonumia collector than a currency collector. But the Stack-Bowers ANA sale had some nice (and very rare) Liberty Bonds. I've never owned any of those and I had only ever seen two examples previously (at a Pittsburgh ANA show some years ago). I assumed that I would only be able to afford to buy one thing, so I concentrated on the one item that I liked best and bid remotely in the live auction. This is what I won:
