WTB: Jefferson Nickel Varieties Needed - F.I.B. Collection - All Varieties
Crew, I need some help! I've been stuck for quite a while. No new varieties have been added since I don't know when. Below are the dates I need. I want to have the variety (DDO, DDR, RPM, OMM) be one that is recognized by CONECA (listing is maintained by James Wiles on his website, www.VarieyVista.com). So......bring it on! Many thanks!
Dates with know varieties:
1939 Rev38 (I may have found a DDR-015, getting it verified)
1939-S Rev38
1939-S Rev40
1940-S
1941-S
1946
1948
1949-D
1952
1959-D
1960
Dates with no known varieties (you could be the one to discover the first?):
1938-S (I found a DDR, but James Wiles declared it not significant enough to attribute!)
1939-D Rev40
1949
1950
1950-D
1951
1951-D
1953
1955
1958

Will keep a eye out! Nice!!
Man-o-man, you can hear the ink drying on this message! Oh well, I know these are tough, but someone has to be able to help out.
How about let's add:
Proof 1969-S/S RPM FS-501
Proof 1971-S DDR FS-801
Oh, forgot to add one:
Proof 1964 TDR FS-801
Let's see'em then send'em my way!
The 69 is on eBay for 3,000
Not sure how serious the seller is.
I need both of those for my set!
I Finally got one of TDR 64s and it has some color. It was in an anacs as pr66 sitting around for a year, so I cracked it out and it graded PR65

The 69 is on eBay for $3,000
While it may be a low pop, top pop, good luck with that price for what is really one of the minor Cherry Picker variety. I can live without it until I find one. There are many more to come!
For the purpose of hunting this variety I thought I would share a die marker or diagnostic for this 1964 TDR that I have noticed. The obvious tripling of the reverse letters is a give away, but when hunting through most of ebays bad photos this might help.
***There is a die dot about centered between the right side rectangle windows. This is on all the CoinFacts and my own images. Be warned there are similar die dots in similar places but the one I’m referencing is centered up and side to side (looks that way to me)
