You can Google the name. Competition was so intense that it included two nations, US and Canada. I passed him at the nine mile mark--he was going the other way and was at mile 18 
.
His margin of victory was a seemingly comfortable 2 and a half hours....but it was really closer than that.

He was faster than Emmitt...at least over a mile.
