1986 Topps Football - Anybody Building a Nice Raw Set?

I bought a group of nice '86 Topps FB cards off Craigslist -- 1400 or so for $20....I am almost done going thru them and so far have pulled out 17, I believe, that I am going to have graded (expecting/hoping for 9 or 10 on all...I have inspected surfaces for issues, centering, backs, corners, edges. etc)...there have been about 30 or 40 which just missed my cut...maybe a small splotch on the back or maybe a small fisheye somewhere on the front. I know I will never get these 30 or 40 graded, so they will sit in one of my card rooms "gathering dust" in a box. Most of the1400 are commons, with some minor stars mixed in. Since this is a very condition-sensitive set, I thought i would offer up these 30-40 eye-appealling cards to someone who would like to add them to their high-quality raw set....let me know and I can ship them out...if there are just a few you are looking for, let me know which numbers they would be...
p.s. Those yellow team leader cards are a bear...pretty much everyone I have seen in this lot are severely off-center.

Did the lot include any 1000YC inserts? I still need quite a few of those also.
No 1000 Yard cards...just the Record Breakers...only one I have from your list Larkin is 318. off a little bit left to right and tiny touch on 2 corners...presents pretty nicely...if you want it, PM me your address...I could look thru the 1400 cards (they're in order pretty good) for the other numbers you listed, but I'd have to know what condition you currently have in order to know if I would have an upgrade for you. There are plenty of nice looking cards that I didn't sleeve up or that I didn't think could get a 9. PM me and let me know...

One of the toughest post 1970’s sets going. I’ve gotten killed on submissions. There are so many surface issues that are really tough to pick up. Good luck!

I busted two boxes of 1986 FB recently and plan to open one more. Agreed with previous post regarding the chances of any really good grades. I submitted the stars would probably not be 9's (and certainly not 10s), but was hoping for a few 8's & maybe sneaking a 9 in there. Here were the results. Have all the card still and will likely just put a nice raw set together. The Watson was disappointing (I missed something obviously) because it was the only common that immediately caught my eye as a potential 9 or 10.

Here are a few of the low pop ones I will be sending in...I know the set is difficult, but I have checked the surfaces closely, under light, so feel good about that...a few are a bit off-center, but I have seen 10's in this set a bit off-centered, and for sure 9's a little off...after all, a 9 or 10 can be off-centered a bit, per the PSA guidelines...
If you have any Nmmt ones left over that you'd let go for cheap, please let me know. I'd love to put together a raw set of this.
