Question about storing unopened boxes and cards in binders

Got a rookie question about how you guys store your stuff.

First off, doesn't stacking your unopened boxes (bbce kinda stuff) on top of each other kinda mess the bottom boxes up? I assume it doesn't because I see all the pro guys do it that way but honestly Ive been afraid to lol. I have all my boxes just scattered on a table one box high

Second, I have like 50 binders of cards. Should I be storing those just like books on a bookshelf? I kinda feel all the weight is bending the cards but stacking those on top each other doesn't seem good either

Am I just clueless and paranoid??????

    I saw your thread or you post this is someones thread. Looks so awesome, I only have 9 boxes so far, hoping to someday be a bad ass like you and some others here. Do some of you guys insure your collection? I had just like 5k of cash in my house for like a week a month or so back and I was just ridiculously paranoid I was gonna come home and it would be gone lol
