If you want to have a coin reholdered and get a TrueView image, but it has a 4th party sticker on it.
How do get the new holder, image, and sticker on it?

send in the coin to PCGS and ask for re-holder and for TrueView (or just ask for Gold Shield re-holder, pic will be included at no extra charge). Then when it comes back, send it to Far Hills, NJ and ask them to re-sticker it. Cert number won't change, so it will already be in their database, making the re-sticker part easy
Take a quality photo of the current stickered slab just in case the cert number gets changed in error.

...or ask to have the coin imaged while it is still in the holder. Although it will not be as nice as a raw coin TrueViewed, it can, and has been done before.

Submit the coin under the reholder tier. The serial number will stay the same as will any attached True Views. If you need a True View, but did not have one previously, you can also pay to add that feature at that time. As long as the serial number stays the same, CAC will resticker a coin, guaranteed, for $3 as a "resticker" fee.
Alternatively, if it is an upgrade candidate, you could have it regraded under the secure tier and send photos with the old slab/sticker as per Broadstruck. There are no guarantees if the serial number changes (as happens with a regrade), however.
