The 1955 Mantle story was fantastic, but most collectors probably do not dabble in high end Mantle, Ruth, Gehrig cards. What would be nice at any of these big shows, especially the ones PSA attends, would be a small synopsis of what investors/collectors were purchasing the most of. Not necessarily the prices (but that would be nice), but just an overall "sold all my 2007 Fleer Durant 1986 cards and all my Curry rookies, got big numbers from both", from a dealer or two.

I know the Mantle story spurns more interest in the hobby for novices and maybe non-collectors, but everyday collectors may want to know what's hot, what's on the fringe, etc.
