My 1st National.....

Attended my first National and here are a few thoughts and observations:

-Brooks Robinson was awesome and took several pictures as well as chatted and personalized our item even though we didn't pay extra for that. (He offered).

-Many dealers were fantastic but its amazing how many just sit there with an ugly look on their face.

-I was amazed at how we were ignored at the Beckett and COMC booths by employees doing nothing.

-PSA was lined up but they were very attentive and the free personalized slabbed cards were a nice touch and done quick.

-Some displays are so messy and unorganized and look to be too much trouble to look through.

-Man, walking on that concrete floor all day takes a toll....

-Got some good deals especially late Saturday

-Wish I didn't have to ask how much almost everything is....

-IX center staff from parking attendant to food service and cleaners are all very friendly and do a good job. It is a nice, clean venue.

-A few dealers seemed to sleep in and some displays were covered up all day Saturday...Apparently the police were involved and a fake autograph dealer was shut down Friday.

-That ferris wheel in the IX center is a fast and wild ride and only 2 bucks....Great to see the entire show floor from above.
