Had this Sportster since 2012, took a small last ride this morning and sold it at noon. After 51 years of riding and many different bikes it's time for me to get out of way. My favorite bike was a Honda 250 Dirt Bike I had many moons ago, it would climb a tree.

And why? Are the birds dead, or asleep?
It is called a collection. This is one of many collections of birds. There are several reasons to form collections. A large number of birds were "harmed" to form this collection. I'm guessing Chicago or England.
I worked at the Smithsonian in DC for a few years. You would not believe what, and the amount of it, that is not displayed. You would not believe what was tossed into the trash either.
Feeding the honey bees pollen this morning to help them until the buds start to flower so they have food. The blurryness is due to getting too close while they were feeding.
Bird collections are used for a wide variety of purposes. All biological species including those of birds are represented by a holotype, the vast majority of which are full specimens (mostly skins) and in modern times explicitly designated in the original description of the taxon. All other putative members of the species may be compared to the holotype to confirm their identification. Rigorous studies of avian taxonomy are based on specimens from bird collections. Taxonomic studies rely on morphological and genetic characters to determine species limits and evolutionary relationships. Museum specimens have been the preferred source for scoring these characteristics, as they allow studies to be replicated – anyone may go back and repeat the study using the same specimens to verify the conclusions. However, it has alternatively been argued that such re-examination can be undertaken from archived photographs without killing the study piece
Drove to Lake Jordan in Wetumpka Alabama this morning. The boat ramp area was busy for a Friday morning.
Hey, even the ducks are 6' apart. I spent many years on this lake, 30 minutes from my house.

Framed some old rock posters a while back. Repurposed frames from thrift store. Lenny Bruce poster from a collection a coworkers dad gave me. When his mom passed, he discovers she had saved all his Fillmore posters from the 60s when he went in Navy. Knows I like this stuff. Dates on Lenny Bruce poster were his last public performances.
The Santana poster came out of a VW bus we rescued. Always cool stuff lurking on old left for dead vehicles. I like the “introducing” Aerosmith part.
I wonder if they forgot tp apply the nose cowl torque to the bolts holding the cowl on? Also to the fans cowls with. Reversed halves stayed though. Yeah....forgot to apply second torque.
