An old picture of the USS Ranger, CV61. The aircraft on the stern on the flightdeck (A-6 Bombers & F-14 Fighters are no longer in operation). I believe the Ranger has also been decommissioned too. I was station on the Ranger for 2 years.

So, I went an hour over to a town where an auction was advertised for new kids' clothes recovered from an abandoned storage unit. So, I went over to meet them before the auction as they offered to sell me some clothes and shoes for my daughters a discount.

But....

Of course, they didn't tell me they had more than clothes and shoes. So, while my daughters shopped, I picked up a couple cool items for myself. A wall clock, brass weight scale, and a Mexican coin ash tray. Can't wait to test the scale for fun.

We have hardly had any snow at all in Western North Carolina. So far, I kind of envy that beautiful snow you have.
