Is that the same aircraft as the "flying boxcar" that commercially flew? The first airplane I recall ever having seen as a preschooler was a commercial Flying Boxcar and that military plane looks quite similar.

Thanks for locating that. Not sure that I ever saw a Flying Boxcar again but I'm sure the name must have caught my fancy as a five-year old and the memory of seeing it held on all these years.
