For sale: 1787 Fugio cent conservatively graded with excellent eye appeal. I purchased this coin at a Stack’s and Bowers auction a few years ago. The auction description follows:
_142.0 grains. Medium brown surfaces show good gloss and excellent visual appeal for the grade. The obverse shows some light granularity but no other issues, the reverse is smoother with some trivial striations at 11 o'clock and 3 o'clock, hugging the rim. Clashed, but in an earlier state than the previous piece. This is a tough variety to find better than VF.
