The Piastre de Commerce is a direct descendant of the Piece of Eight, and French Indo-China was one of the last places on earth to abandon the silver standard. The 1913 is one of the keys of this popular and historic series that is larger and contains a smidge more silver than a US silver dollar.
Well-struck XF-ish piece with typical even blue-green tone obverse and a hint of luster under the tone reverse. Great fields, unusually crisp and well-preserved rims.
Fewer than 70 graded across both NGC and PCGS.
A great chance to pick up a nice, problem free key priced as a type-coin.
Asking $68 shipped, 3-day money back guarantee.
Now Just $59 SHIPPED!
We are like children who look at print and see a serpent in the last letter but one, and a sword in the last.
