Going About Selling Topps Heritage Baseball Collection
I have been able to put together master sets of Topps Heritage from 2001 - 2017. Through 2015 I have included SSP cards and through 2017 the high number sets to each year. I am at the point where I cannot add any thing else to my sets without dipping into the retirement savings, which I cannot do.
With the exception of the 2006, 2008 and 2012 sets where I have all of the SSP cards, the other sets are missing some of the higher priced SSP cards i.e. Throwbacks and the different color backs for example. I also don't collect autographs, relics, chrome or the insert cards. This question deals with the sets beginning with the 2009 edition: should I sell the SSP cards as part of the master sets or sell them separately? I thought if I sold each set with everything included it might give someone the opportunity to purchase many of the SSP cards at the same time, but the expense would probably be daunting for many collectors.

Would definitely 2nd the notion that you'd squeeze more out of the entire collection by parsing out the SPs, SSPs, and refractors individually and definitely separately from the base sets.
I know Id be interested in a few of the Trouts
Always looking for tougher PSA 10's of Nolan Arenado, Alex Bregman, Mookie Betts, Francisco Lindor, and Mike Trout.
Sell the SPs and refractors individually. In fact, you might even get them graded if they are in mint condition. Good luck.
Thank you for the feedback. I don't have any refractors however. I always concentrated on the logo/spelling errors (2009); color plate and number variations (2010); errors (2011); color swaps and errors (2012); action, color swap and 1 throwback (2013); action, errors and 2 logo variations (2014); action, color swap and errors (2015); a handful of action and color swaps (2016) and I have the Smoltz/Santana variations from the 2008 set plus the #255 Gordon from the 2006 set. Most of my cards are not graded as I always have preferred to place the regular card and the variation(s) side by side in the sheets and binders.
Please send me a private message of what you need. I can also give more specific breakdowns of what I have without taking too much of the public forum.
I just received a message that my responses to my inquiry haven't gone through. I will try again, but I will answer one question here; I don't have any refractors. I may have to post the list of my Heritage SSP cards in the for sale/trade section if the emails aren't being accepted. Sorry for any delays, it isn't me.
I sent a private message yesterday. I am needing a 2014 Topps Heritage Adam Wainwright Throwback variation for my Cardinals team set collection. Do you have that one available?
Ironically, I only found out about this card yesterday before I even saw this thread. I didn't even know about this card.
I also just realized this morning that I needed a 2010 Topps Heritage Albert Pujols Black Box variation.

Shane--you seem to have had some kind of awakening over the last two days. Wonder what might pop up tomorrow morning

Nope.... Just did a little research and the timing was a coincidence.

I sent replies to linuxabuser and frankhardy yesterday, please let me know if they came through.
I did not receive a reply in my inbox. Did you receive my private message? Or are you replying to my post?
I just send you another private message with my contact info.
Shane
I received your private message. The other day I received a message through my main email source through MSN. It stated that after several attempts my messages failed to go through, perhaps they are not going through Collectors Universe. Linuxabuser, if you'd like please send me a private message with your contact info and I can send you my list that way.
