Very nice. I have always loved that Nique card. You can almost feel and hear that dunk looking at the picture.

Also never realized how many pictures there are of players shooting free throws in that set.

Awesome. I have to think with the Jordan out of the way it's clear sailing, no?

Like TB I always looked at that 'Nique and saw it as a dunk but now when I look at it I'm wondering if it's a rebound?

Thanks there are a few cards that cost a little bit. The Bird, Barkley, and Magic cards. I do have the most expensive card though.

Crap. I’m going to continue to believe it’s a dunk!! :D

  • This is a great undervalued set. I have always liked the design more than the inaugural year.

Awesome start - this is my favorite basketball card set.

  • This thread has made me decide, to begin doing the same. I love this set and the 86 set.

    Really nice!

If I were to do a Bkb set? That might be one I would consider.

When did you start the set?

Also, if you don't mind, what's your first name?

    Thanx and thanx for sharing.

My name is Jimmy. I got the Jordan card first. I got it back,in April. Then decided to start other cards. I might eventually try and complete the whole set.

I really love this set, being an 80’s kid and growing up just south of Seattle I never saw these offered. I did open 86 Fleer BSK, in my Christmas stocking the year before (my dad was a big NBA fan ). I think I read this issue had half the print run as the 86 set, reduced by poor sales of the 86 cards. Good luck on the set build.

Shameless plug: I was working on this in the 8-10 range, but I have moved to mostly Vintage. Give me a shout.

ETA: Did I mention these are super rare. :)

Great set, underrated as some have mentioned. I opened a box a few years back when they were closer to $1k/per. Yielded less than five 10's. :( They are tough.

    Thanks,

Congrats on some great looking cards. I think you are smart to knock out the HOFers. You can always add the rest of the cards later if you want to finish the set.
