A few questions about sending already graded PCGS coins for TV's.

keetskeets Posts: 25,351 ✭✭✭✭✭

I have an interest in having TrueView images taken of some already PCGS encapsulated coins. I had a few questions about the process.
1.) is the submission listed as a Reholder service??
2.) can I choose "Gold Shield" even if the coins are currently in Standard holders??
3.) what is the cost??

Thanks in advance.

    1.) Yes
    2.) Yes
3.) $12 Reholder fee, $5 for "Gold Shield". TrueView comes with "Gold Shield" at no further cost. Total $17, plus basic charges for Shipping and handling (shipping depends on how many coins in submission.

Agree and reholder is considered regular service level so turnaround time is generally fast.

I also just learned that you can send your already graded coins in for photos without cracking and reholdering. Just in case you ever wanted to get a picture of a coin in a doily or something but didn't want to crack.
