Need help with a Gothic Florin. More info added.

Toning always confuses me when grading. Two questions:
1. What grade would you give the coin?
2. Do you like the look of the coin?

AU
Possibly too much chatter on the portrait for my liking. Could be the imaging.
Is it lustrous?

AU by wear but excessive marks for the grade on the obverse.
Very hard to tell from the image I am seeing... It's not unusual for .925 silver to have this type of color.
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
The pictures make it look very dull, almost as though dipped and then retoned. It has that monotonic look to it. Check the AU50 1854 on the pcgs pop site. This looks less than that although I would give it the 50 also.
Well, just Love coins, period.
AU Details - Cleaned
Better pictures might change my opinion.

I also see cleaning especially on the obverse. I think it would go details grade.
The coin in its older ICCS flip. I was thinking AU also.

Coin has good detail, especially the reverse. Certainly better than any of my poor Gothic florins.
The pardon is for tyrants. They like to declare pardons on holidays, such as the birthday of the dictator, or Christ, or the Revolution. Dictators should be encouraged to keep it up. And we should be encouraged to remember that the promiscuous dispensation of clemency is not a sign of political liberality. It is instead one of those valuable, identifying marks of tyranny.
