So why am I posting this? Because there's a lot of coins on eBay that sellers list under other categories, particularly the collectible category.
Today only, eBay is offering 15% off sitewide when promo code PERFECTDAY is applied during checkout. This offer is good until midnight tonight, June 29th. You’ll need a minimum purchase of $25 with the maximum available discount being $100. Fulls terms and conditions are below.
Terms and Conditions:
This Coupon is a 15% discount off a minimum purchase of $25, valid from 7:00 AM PT on June 29, 2018 until 9:00 PM PT on June 29, 2018. The Coupon discount is capped at a maximum value of $100. Discount applies to the purchase price (excluding shipping, handling, and taxes) of eligible items on eBay.com, cafr.ebay.ca and ebay.ca. *Eligible items exclude warranties and protection plans, as well as items from the Coins & Paper Money, Gift Cards & Coupons, and Real Estate categories. Coupon must be used within a single transaction (and can include multiple eligible items), while supplies last. Max one-time use. Only eBay users registered with an address located in the United States, Canada, Latin America or the Caribbean are eligible for the Coupon. Valid only for purchases from eBay.com, cafr.ebay.ca and ebay.ca. Any unused difference between the discount amount, as shown on the Coupon, and the purchase price of an item(s) in a single transaction (or cart) will be forfeited. Coupon is subject to U.S. laws, void where prohibited, not redeemable for cash, has no face value, and cannot be combined with any other Coupon, or when paying with PayPal Credit Easy Payments or Gift Cards. eBay may cancel, amend, or revoke the Coupon at any time.

It would be nice of they included coins and paper money section !
I just got 15% off a new wireless Apple Keyboard as mine has had one too many cups of coffee
I know. It's 15% from eBay as a third party so who cares? Maybe doing it for bullion would break their bank?
That's the only reason I can think of.

Plenty of items - including coins - are listed in other categories
Be careful though if you plan to use the coupon on stamps
If one is looking for stamps, the USPS has an ebay store (and after the coupon the stamps would still be under current pricing).
I think its a money laundering thing. If you think about it , two parties could conspire to create a fake listing where by a pure money transaction could take place , on ebay , with ebay effectively covering the fees via coupon
Now to hunt the wrong categories for coins/bullion. Any luck anyone?
CN eBay
All of my collection is in a safe deposit box!
Just got some stamps from the actual USPS on ebay with coupon!
Thanks for the heads up.
True, but they could also simply create a fake TV listing and do the same thing.
I don't get it.
Last time some seller canceled the stamp transaction
oops
what I had was listed in dual categories
Some people had their stamp orders canceled while others (like me) received counterfeit forever stamps.
Which was excellent for me. When I messaged to ask to cancel they said no can do.

Does that apply to make an offer listings too?

Check the bst
Also there is one seller (ARKANSASSILVER) who puts Silver Eagles and some other items into collectibles.
I saw those, but the discount only brings them down to about $2 over spot. not a hot deal unless you have great credit card rewards.
There is also proof platinum near spot and a few other random items from various sellers.
I was inspired by Weiss to get the Coke Bottle Cap coin and a seller actually listed under "Collectibles".
Got the 15%!
Here it is if anyone wants one with choices of holder colors:

I did a general search for PCGS and poked through the non-coin category list that comes up on the left side. I did have to filter out some repetitive results like "disney", etc.... There were some nice gold $10 Indians and medals among other stuff.
Check this out! It's listed under "umbrellas"!
