PMG 64 Quad $1 FRN panel ending with bp 7273 ERROR
The BEP engraver made an error in one plate position only on the 1981 series ED notes. Since printing was on 32 subject sheets; a single incorrect plate serial number of 7273 was accidentally used instead of the correct 3273 that all other 31 notes were printed with. This panel of four notes bears the three standard bp 3273 notes and follows with the last note being the Error, bearing bp 7273, the bp printing Error. PMG has graded this as 64 with reverse notation of a stain between standard notes 2 and 3 and although does not affect the expensive rare note, it is still present. Priced at $200 delivered to US destinations. There was some difficulty taking photos with a lot of reflections off the
PMG holder. There are no light/dark gradients to the actual notes, those are reflections off the holder

Cool !!!
+1 very nice!
On hold
Good to know...sent me scampering to look at my 1981 $1 E-D sheet. No luck, all back plate numbers were 3273.
If this is a 32 subject sheet, then perhaps Double check the reverse of the H1 position

How did that work out, did you find one?
Still got this?
Sorry, I don't.
My records show I have a sister quad without stain in PMG 66EPQ but still looking for where I put it
E99864458D bp 3273
E99869458D bp 3273
E99874458D bp 3273

Any interest at $500 ?
