1828 50c: sm8's, LL, O113, sq base 2 help
Hello everyone! After much anticipation and research, this beauty finally arrived in the mail today.
I believe this to be an 1828, square base 2, small 8s, large letters Overton 113 capped bust half dollar. I could use help on authenticity, attribution, grade, value and any help for further research. Curious about the overlapping letters on the rim.
The things that stick out to me are the rim, clasp, and eagle's shield. Is the shield an example of cabinet friction? I know Liberty's clasps are struck very lightly in this year and in late die states. The ivy leaves on the back have unfinished die work.
The rim reads "Fifty cents O(R/H)alf a Dollar". The R overlaps the H. Not sure if this is common.
There's still some luster but it's hidden by over dipped flashy fields or buried in toning. Hardly any but it's there, however small.
I'm wondering how far away from "almost uncirculated" this coin is, most importantly. I still have time to return it.
Thanks for any and all help!
Best,
Az.

Nice !!!
Is this cabinet friction? Do the weak strike spots on this year come into account when grading?
Thanks again for any education. I'd like to keep this one it looks great in hand despite cleaning.
It's very far from being a slider, so what explains the wear?
Does the unfinished die work around the eagle's left talons (our right) take away from the grade? Or the weak clasp of this Overton? The first few stars dragged to the rim are unique to this variety and not damage?
What of the overlap on edge lettering. Is this an "error"? Does it take away from the coin, or grade? I imagine others exist.
Here are the pictures from the listing. They're a little better than mine in some ways. This coin looks great in hand, but I know that's not gonna do anything to make it better than it is lol. I've seen similar coins in 40 and a slightly better but 45, so I'm not sure if 35 is right for this issue.
I should've spent the extra money for one of the slabbed 45's, though.
