    I have two 2002 Fleer Legacy cards with pieces of the boards from the Joe Louis Arena, one has a yellow piece and Larry Robinson and one has a red piece and Jari Kurri, very cool cards that deserve a better home than I can give them... image

    Hasek might stay, but if not they are likely to sign CuJo...image . That's not really a drop off...heehee. The other teams could have spent money for these players, but nobody wanted to go to their crappy teams - lol. And as
    far as the payroll goes, the Rangers (as mentioned above) didn't even make the playoffs and Philly couldn't muster a 1st round win. Losers!!! The Wings better make Lewis coach though because he's put his time in and there's no better person for the job

    The wings still bought the cup...lol. The Rangers... well... the picked up to many young players with big egos... and they dont "mesh" as a team. IF the Wings get Cujo... well... i dunno... i dont like him either. Actually... if they do... then i would hope they would win the cup next year... maybe his cards will go up in value...lol.
    Oh well... when season starts... i will be cheering for my good ol team... The Preds :-)

    they pulled game 5 on ESPN here in Maine to show the 1st round of the US Open...man, was I ripped...in the rough, bunker shot ,green and put for bogey...wow, how exciting...lol

    The Predator's..........heehee. Although the Wings may have "bought the Cup" as the Yankees, Lakers and Cowboys have "bought rings" in other sports, the Pred's ,my friend, will have difficulty buying wins!!! image

    From 2 'Canes fans we want to say congrats to the Wings & thier fans.They do have an awesome team.We are very proud of the 'Canes tho;when all the so called experts all but wrote them off.
    This team in many ways shows just what hard work,good draft picks & key signings along with a potential great coach can accomplish!
    We will be rooting for them again next season! !

    The Preds all the way baby...lol. Its a shame in sports that, usually, the team that can spend the most $$$ wins. Takes alot of the "fun" out of it. However... the Preds... wont win the cup next year... but they will make it to the playoffs.
    The Canes... well... unfortunately their luck ran out... and wont do it next year.

    LOL,the Preds,wow what are you smoking down there! You should be happy if the Preds make it to double digit wins next year or the forseeable future even.
    For certain the 'Canes will again make it to the playoffs next year & with the addition of some more offense could even have a better chance at winning it all.
    You keep rooting for those Preds tho;true fans are a rarity for teams
    that play that badly.Hang in there for now tho,it's going to take them alot longer than a year tho.LOL

    Double digit wins??? better question is.. what are you smoking...lol The preds Had 28 wins... 7 less than what the canes had... however... the West is way tougher than the east... and thats the bad thing. Oh well... its ok... Canes got where they were because of good goaltending... by Irbe and Weeks... but dont count on it next year... neither of them are yet a proven starter.
