Just for the sake of good scientific research, is that a southern or western exposure. My guess is southern.

No mention of his work and acting in Crossroads? I guess I really am the only person who liked that movie (no, not the Brittany Spears movie, I'm talking about the Ralph Macchio / Jamie Lee Gertz flick).

Steve's "Passion and Warfare" album is truly amazing. His stuff is kinda hit and miss on his solo albums but that album is an absolute grand slam.

I though it was an excellent movie. GREAT blues guitar playing. Ry Cooder!

I had a difficult time not seeing him still as the "Karate Kid"
But the movie was a "Classic"
    :D

It has a lot of similarities to Karate Kid. This was the first movie I saw that made me want to listen in stereo!

Tabe.. exactly right .. Passion and Warfare is to me the greatest rock guitar album ever. A few of his live, and other solo stuff ... I can't even listen to.

I'm partial to Eric Johnson's "Ah Via Musicom" but "Passion and Warfare" is right up there. Johnson is another guy, for me anyway, with one good album and...lots of misses.

Freshman year in college, I lived a couple doors down from a guy who spent most of the first semester teaching himself "For the Love of God" on guitar. Was really happy for him when he finally nailed it. Not the easiest piece in the world to play.

Better get him an umbrella, wouldn't want him to get wet this weekend.

Unusual prior to monsoon season for sure, but Bud took a pretty odd path.

Soak that puppy in a nice mixture of salt and water, see if you can get it to look like this

Ken - Volunteered to work in Florida Keys, now freezing in Ohio
Work in progress - Unopened Racks/Cello/Wax with star power for Baseball, Football and Basketball
Collecting unopened 80's boxes and graded packs
I may be hoarding too much 80's junk wax but I like it!
