Can someone give me a hand with interpreting the headings/categories on the set registry?

So I assume spec # pop means there are 216 Pafko 3’s?
Spec # pop higher....does this mean there are 507 Pafko’s graded authentic to 2.5?
I have no idea then what Total Pop and Total Pop Higher are..........
Thanks for any explanation.
Best,
Scott

Higher is above 3.
Total pop is total graded.
Pop higher is number above the grade that have graded higher.
How can total pop be 335 when spec # pop higher is greater than that and total pop higher is also greater? What am I missing? I’m assuming when you say total pop is total graded you are saying there are 335 Pafko’s graded in total. That seems too low.
You are looking at the 52 Pafko correct?
This occurs when there is more than one variant of the card, in this case likely the back color variations. Spec number pop means how many there are in this grade of the particular back color this card has, and then how many are graded higher with that back color. The total pop and total pop higher reflect the number of Pafkos in all back colors with that grade, and those graded higher.
So there are in fact 1097 Pafkos graded 3 or higher.
It's confusing me too. My head hurts and I can't think straight now. See if this helps anyone.

In the example above the card in the variation of black back has eight copies graded PSA 7. There are six copies graded higher.
The total of 39 is both variations in a PSA 7.
216 unspecified backs graded 3 with 507 unspecified backs graded higher
335 total graded 3 with 762 total graded higher
I believe unspecified backs would include both red backs and black backs that were graded before the distinction was made.
In your example there should be 335 that have graded a PSA 3 from both variations.
There are 507 of your variation higher and 762 in total higher.
Just to be clear, the two variations for these purposes are not black and red. They are black, and those not specified as black, which could include blacks graded before the distinction was made.
Gentlemen
Thank you very much for taking the time to explain. I sincerely appreciate it.
Thanks again..
