it's not even a full ticket, but a ripped stub going for this much. how's the ticket market these days?

I've been saying this for years that ticket stubs such as this are terrific investments, especially like cards when in high grade.
That ticket isn't bad, probably around a 3 or 4. I think there's a crease on it, plus corner wear. But If you see one like this at the right price in high grade, i say buy it.
From the bidding it looks as if 2 bidders really wanted the item. All it takes is 2 interested parties to run the price up sometimes.
I've picked up a couple of tickets recently but I didn't want to spend much at all. I'm looking for a few things when I buy a ticket....the ticket is attractive and cheap, my team won, and something significant happened in the game.
for this Cubs ticket, Sandberg hit home run #100 and Dawson also homered and the Cubs won.
for this White Sox ticket, Frank Thomas and Ken Griffey Jr each had home runs and the Sox won.
I know next to nothing about tickets but have always had a question ... assume two tickets to same event, both PSA slabbed, same grade, would there be a premium price for more desirable seat location, say field box over bleacher? Or once the vent is over, is condition the only thing that matters?
I wouldn't think that would be a factor, but that's just my opinion.
I don't collect ticket stubs, but this thread is intriguing. I've been throwing away my tickets for the warriors playoff run this year...and last....and the year before, but went to e-bay after reading this thread. Final's stubs are going for $50-$80. I was floored. I have two pairs of tickets left for game 5 and 7. I have a feeling they will not be needed. Should I put these on the BST?
Collecting Unopened from '72-'83; mostly BBCE certified boxes/cases/racks.
Prefer to buy in bulk.
