Anyone bought any vintage sets from Larry Fritsch cards?

Did you get anything gradeable?

Technically speaking, every card is gradable. Just depends on what range of grades you would be hoping to land.

the ones that would be worth more than grading itself. a psa 8 bruce bochte may not be worth the slab it's in. a psa 8 nolan ryan probably would be worth more. does that help?

I once bought 2 1968 Topps vending boxes, before they jacked up the price to $15k each. The commons were of the highest quality. The Bobby Orr cards were suspiciously lower-grade.

I bought a few 1968 and 1969 series sets (4th, 5th, 6th, etc.) in the late '90s from Fritsch Card. The cards were okay, but the centering, especially on the '68s, was horrible. About five cards were gradable, although that wasn't my intent at the time. I bought complete sets from them in the late '70s, and again the cards were nice(ish), but it's not like ANYONE had gradable sets for sale back in the day. Mint cards from the '70s = PSA 6 (Chaz).
