First card show today + T-205 Pickup, thoughts?

Attended my first card show today and was slightly overwhelmed at the mass amount of cards. I went with the intent on getting a T-205 card and found this one for $30. Definitely better grade than my previous one that graded at a PSA 4. However, all good things must come to an end as when I got home with some better lighting it looks as if it has been bent before slightly. I know creases like this are very bad when it comes to grading.... What a bummer, great card nonetheless though!

Still a nice card. Those borders are as good as you will find on a mid grade card.
How much do you think the crease will dock the card in respect to PSA grading? Because overall besides the creasing the card looks much better than a 4 I had graded a few months ago.
Nice pick up, not sure on the grade but creases really knock them down. The one thing I do at card shows that may help you: I have them keep my phone and ask if I can look at cards outside, and they have always said yes. Outside light really reveals all the defects and I've passed up many cards by doing this.
Still a really nice card - gold borders are tough.
Early name too - they went from the "Bridegrooms" to "Superbas" to "Trolley Dodgers" to "Dodgers" to "Robins" and back to "Dodgers"
Nice card. I could still see it getting a VG 3 grade, but more likely it would be a 2. The eye appeal is off the charts, though, so many times the technical grade is just a guide.
Yes it's going to get a low grade, but that card is going to present so much nicer than the grade it will receive. The centering is amazing!!! Can't go wrong for $30.00. ENJOY IT.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Why even grade that card? The card is beautiful without encasing it in plastic. I think it is amazing it lasted as long as it did in the condition its in for over 100 years. These cards were meant to be played with by little boys and it was assumed they would all surly be destroyed. Enjoy that beautiful card for what it is and think about it's history. Where has it been for the last 100 years? Did the crease get put in there by someone's father who pulled it from a pack of cards and jammed it in his pocket so that he could give it to his son later? Did the kid keep it in a school book and took it to school to trade? Perhaps it got caught between the lid of the cigar box it was stored in. The story is in how the crease and the wear got to that card not what number some third party grading company is going to give it. Enjoy that card for what it is and not for what it isnt.
