Always buying nice toned coins! Searching for a low grade 1873 Arrows DDO Dime and 1842-O Small Date Quarter.
Of all US coins, this is my all time favorite design. Ms Liberty is riding on the back of a hippocampus which is a mythical creature that's half horse and half sea serpent while she is holding a caduceus which is the medical symbol of healing and represents the conquering of yellow fever in the jungles of Panama where the canal was built.
