Re: Uffdah’s RIPPING Journey – Packs and Vending – All Sports and Non-Sports
On February 14, 1986, Boston Celtics forward Larry Bird famously played a "left-handed" game against the Portland Trail Blazers, scoring 47 points, grabbing 14 rebounds, and recording 11 assists in a 120-119 overtime victory. Bored during a road trip, Bird declared he was "saving his right hand for the Lakers" and proceeded to shoot mostly with his left hand, scoring 10 of his 21 field goals with it.
This video shows some of the incredible highlights from Larry Bird's famous left-handed game:
Re: The Collaborative "Virtual 7070" Type Set Project
So just like yesterday, the host of this OP is inviting the previous/initial design of today’s Seated Type Dime, here’s my 1837 “No Stars”, along with my regular holding:

Re: The Collaborative "Virtual 7070" Type Set Project
Good morning, welcome to February 14th, and happy Valentine’s Day.
Today we move on to the Liberty Seated Dime Stars (1838-60).
I see no reason you couldn’t also post an 1837-38 No Stars dime if you wanted to. I’ve never understood why the 7070 album omits the No Stars half dimes and dimes, unless it was a matter of space?
Can’t recall what my past “best of type” example was. Maybe MS63.
This is my most recent example of the type. I just traded it away. As a Type collector, one should probably do common dates in better grades. With this one, I had it the other way ‘round: a better date in common grade. Despite the modest grade, it was a nice coin.

Re: Washington Quarter Registry Thread
Another upgrade, this one an MS67 replacing an MS66. Denver issues are tough to find w/color.
Re: Finest known Cheerios Prototype Dollar coming up for auction later this month
I sold the one in the original packaging to a collector.
I still have the “DeLorey Specimen.”

“No matter where you go in coin collecting, Morgans always steal the show”To direct such a comment to a large group of collectors with varying collecting preferences, sounds silly to me.
It can seem silly to you. Morgans are still the kings of any coin show, and the King of US numismatics. It has always been that way. It will not change in the foreseeable future. Morgans get more attention and will outsell any other coin type, and that there are so many of them just fuels the business even more.
