Here is the coin in hand.

My Flowing Hair gold coin has arrived safely! I gave it everything a thorough inspection. The packaging looks pristine with no prior handling evident. The coin appears to be in perfect condition with no flaws, fingerprints, trapped dust etc, The relief is very high and the cameo effect is very impressive. It is really beautiful in hand, and I feel super lucky to have been able to purchase one. This makes up for past mint frustrations I had with the V75 gold and the 2019 S ERP silver eagle. I was "shut out" of each of those, although I actually had a V75 gold in my "Bag" for a month, This coin will not be a "flip" for me. I intend to keep it as a long term holding to mark a special year for me. 2024 was the year I turned age 60, and I was officially retired from the Army reserves. (After serving as a reservist in the Army National Guard for 24 years, at age 60 I finally receive a small military pension, and health care benefits) So as far as this coin goes , I guess I will share the "last strike" honors with @jskillz95 , unless another lucky person comes forward to claim that title.

But they don’t fit sideways in a safe deposit box (unlike PCGS boxes). To me, that’s a negative.
