DeVonta Smith with a game-losing dropseems like every time something like that happens, there's always repercussions. a player rarely makes an egregious mistake like that and the team lives to tell the tale
You're right. But I'm more infuriated about the Hurts injury. I mean the Eagles had the lead, moving the ball well both rushing and passing, and Sirianni in all his "brilliance", calls a designed run play for Hurts. Just stupidity beyond belief.
There is always risk of QB injury especially calling a play like that right up the middle. Okay maybe ya risk it with the game on the line, if ya don't have a Saquon Barkley on the team. But never in a million years in that situation. There was some other chit in the game as well.
Is Rich Kotite available? 😒
Re: Anyone know the mint that produced this silver round?
I started work at Coin World in 1973. Does that qualify as an old timer?
Possibly made from melted down U.S. junk silver, which was still available in quantity at a small premium over face value. The one ounce .999 silver bar and round market had not yet developed to the point that it dominated the market. Harry Forman and the Madison Mint accomplished that throughout the 1970’s.
Re: Help me date a well worn Lincoln cent
My first impression is that it is a 1915-S not a 1919-S.
Re: 2024 college football thread
I don’t think the committee did anything other than select the top 4 ranked conf champions in order. Then seeded them in order.
Then they took the next 8 at large straight from the rankings. They did the basic what they said they would generally do. I don’t think there’s any conspiracy here. If you don’t like the seeding you mean you don’t like the rankings.

The coin and the write up…
Absolutely superb!
Re: How does the Search button work on the BST website?
If there is, I was never able to figure it out. Why that wasn’t made the default is beyond me….
