You should hide a small tracker or camera in your package. See if you can bring some proof to the postmaster.

Per the above, I now send everything more than a few hundred bucks via fedex, cost a little more, but worth the price knowing its got a much better shot at arriving than usps. Submissions to the grading services are either sent fedex now or driven there or show they are at.

I’d ask in the $500 range and expect it to sell close to that. PCGS slab always helps. Scarcer double crescent toning pattern with decent looking color saturation, though perhaps also a tad dark. Satin luster as you’d expect for the date/mint.

I put an AirTag in there above a certain threshold, can track it cross country.

@ARCO. The only modifiers I would apply are common , better date and rare or recently popular.
You can buy a 1858-o PCGS 40 Seated Half for just about the exact same price year in year out.
You will pay at least a 50% mark up on any better date coins in XF or better compare to 2015.
Look at dates such as 1840 sm letters, civil war dates, 1870-s, 1972-s in grades of VF or better.
Look at a coin such as the 1839 No Drapery and get back to me on what you are paying now. James
