Re: Drumwright $5 Liberty gold collection @ Heritage WOW!
Link works. Thanks.
There is going to be a lot of money spent at Heritage. Some great coins are part of the FUN auctions.
Re: Can't Sell on eBay Please Help!
I agree. If you want to sell them all together, you will have to sell at a significant discount. The only people who would be interested in all of it would be resellers. At least, put Michael Jordan and Pokemon in the title. But, your best bet is to sell everything individually, or at the very least, group your items into smaller lots. I would assume the Jordan jersey and Pokemon cards are your big items. Also, most non-authenticated autographs will not be taken seriously on ebay. Take a look at sold items and see how many Jordan autographs are being sold with out authentication.

LCS pickup. My father was part of a B-17 crew, so I added this to my collection.
That is a nice looking card and I love the reason for getting it. Cards with meaning make looking through the collection rewarding.
Re: [CLOSED] LordM Holiday Giveaway, 2024
Added a slabbed Morgan and some other new stuff to the prize selections. And I’m not done yet.
I’ve had fun with these giveaways, so I intend to expand the little “free store” in the upcoming months. Will probably find some more goodies at the 2025 FUN show in January, strictly for the sake of eventually giving them away.
I do question my own sanity on this sometimes, but I guess it’s OK as long as I’m having fun with everyone else. These days, I get as much fun out of adding a $25-50+ coin to someone else’s collection- as much as I would in adding a $250-500+ coin to my own collection.
Re: Hey...what about the new kings of modern $5 dollar gold commemoratives?
Even with the low mintage... at this point, I consider U.S. Mint offerings as over priced bullion.
That being said, the $5 gold commems are an excellent way to invest in bullion gold! In the after market that is... and when the premium is pretty much wiped out.
Re: 1978 Topps Pete Rose recent sale.
What’s interesting was back in the early 2000s, prices for mid/late 70s PSA 8s & 9s were a lot lower - but lots of people were saying (to the effect) “Those prices are crazy - there’s so much of that stuff unopened there’s gonna be a jillion more.”
Fast forward 20 years and there may (or may not) still be a ton of late 70s unopened out there - but the prices/valuation on that unopened material has gone so high as to guarantee it will never be opened. And I think that - probably more than any other factor - has driven prices of late 70s stuff in 8 or 9 holders.
Re: 2024 New England Patriots Discussion Thread
I would guess Bill just took the UNC job so he can look for a girlfriend young enough to be his great granddaughter so he can dump the one that’s only young enough to be his granddaughter. 😎
