Re: Revisiting the 2016 Centennial Gold Coin set for 2026
I still wish they would do a $20 Liberty Head. We already have the obverses of the St. Gaudens and Walking Liberty that have been used for the past 40 (almost) years.
Re: California gold token
Rule of thumb is without a denomination like dollar or dol or even d on the reverse or a fraction of that, be careful.

Has anyone considered this to be terrorism yet? Thousands of terrorists have been walking across open borders..
I read where they caught some homeless people setting fires as well
Could be one or the other or both.
This is more rational way of thinking than climate change lol
There have been wildfires out there forever, this one is worst because of high winds and some things about the gov not following through on getting fresh water into that area idk

What added value do you think First Week of Discovery brings?I think that depends on the collector much like First Strike and First Day of Issue labels on other coins.🤔
There is no doubt less FWOD labeled W quarters available so as always the supply vs. demand variable is in play determining their value.
I haven't tracked Ebay completed sales but I will research it later tonight and see how much premium they have over the other labels.
Great question and thank you!😎
Please post your collection or at least your favorite W quarters for us to see and discuss when you have time.
It’s significant - PCGS gives points in the registry for FWOD and Early Find. I have the #9 set for the 2020 W quarters - all my examples are FWOD. Almost all the top 10 sets are comprised of FWOD, which drives up their price.
Back in May, I bid on the PCGS MS66 Salt River FWOD at Great Collections but did not win - it sold for $1,521 including BP. A regular non-FWOD in PCGS MS66 Salt River can be had for less than $100 on eBay right now - big difference!
@Sweetpie - it may be "LOL" to you, but there were still 3 bidders at the $1,200 level.> @WQuarterFreddie said:

Thank you for the feedback and documentation which helps to answer Oakstars question.
Please post pics. Would love to see your registry set!😎
Both of them - 2019 is currently #29:
Re: Incredibly Rare Uncanceled Costa Rica Dies From Philadelphia Mint
The Philadelphia Mint struck patterns for Peru in 1855.
I believe that was the first time it struck coins for a foreign country.

NEW YORK (AP) — It’s been a tough football season for sports books.
FanDuel and its key rival DraftKings have both showed investors that the house can indeed lose, or at least lose more than anticipated.
Flutter Entertainment, which operates FanDuel and dominates the sports betting industry with a market value of $45 billion, said the latest NFL season has been “the most customer-friendly” with the highest rate of favorites winning in 20 years. Altogether, the bigger payouts to bettors cut an estimated $390 million from the company’s revenue from most of November to the end of December.
i played absolutely no role in this, but good

Put up a buying table in the parking lot
That's actually a pretty good idea although some dealers would complain and the show organizers would call security to escort you off the parking lot.
Re: How do you enjoy your cards?
Stone and minton are onto something, the hunt for the nice set, the nice card, the rare card, the centered card -- I think i fall into that category. Plus I would say -- I look at some of my collecting as investing.

Re: How do you enjoy your cards?
I agree. It's like there's this rush of satisfaction in getting the card you want. Then it goes into a box and it's on to the next one. :-)
