I wouldn't expect a straight grade, But it's a great piece of US numismatic history. Congratulations. Enjoy

With Buffalo likely going to rest players and NE needing to lose to hold onto that 1st overall pick this would be the perfect time to take a look at not only Joe Milton but all of their younger players. The front office will need to make a decision on whether or not to bring back Brissett next season, might as well throw Joe out there in an actual game. They should start Milton and the rest of the non starters, not to tank but see what they got even though it's not going to be against regulars
They should definitely be tanking this final game at this point, they gain nothing by winning that game. Win or Lose the media here will rip Mayo, the front office and ownership regardless of which outcome. Just make sure that they head into the offseason with that first overall pick.
I just have a problem with any team or player going out there and trying to lose.
I will be happy if they lose for the first pick but there are no guarantees with Travis Hunter.
We will be facing Mitchell Trubitsky anyways I think so it will be tough to lose to that clown
The players would never be out there purposely trying to lose, that would be done by the coaching staff with their lineups.
It would look like this...
Give Drake a series or two at most then let Milton take over.
Start Polk & Baker at WR, Terrell Jennings at RB and rookie Jaheim Bell at TE.
Take a long last look at all of their PS offensive linemen that they've had to start numerous times.
Do the same on defense with some of their younger lesser known players not named Gonzalez or White.
Play the vets on both sides of the ball a series or two before going with strictly back of the roster players.
Spend some more time with Cole Strange at center to see if his best fit would be there in 2025 with David Andrews a potential cap casualty after missing 13 games.
At that point no one is actually trying to lose, you'd just be giving yourself less of a chance at winning that Bills game. How that game goes is still important because Mayo would be making that final evaluation of roughly half of their 2024 roster before making changes in the offseason.
People see the word 'Tank' and just assume everyone is told to either quit or to just half-ass it on the field but that is so far from the truth, just treat it like a preseason game. The score doesn't matter, we're just evaluating guys.
In fact, if Mayo went into this weekend making it known to everyone (players & media both) that their plan for week 17 is to just assess the players lower down the depth chart, he'd probably earn some of that respect that BGR thinks is missing.

Players wont, its their money and future on the line. Bench Maye and say its health concerns which really isnt that far off. Maybe mix in a bad play here or there trying new things evaluating players etc and itll take care of itself
Re: Was this price a mistake?
It's remarkable how many cards have risen significantly in value over the years. 15 years ago this card was barely worth subbing at $6 a pop.
