They do pile up. These are mostly low grade with creases and stains. Still fun. Consider all the games they played.
That is a great stash there. I have exactly one of these: a beat up Gene Alley "Fly Out" that I have had as long as I can remember.

These NFL double digit favorites for Saturday and Sunday, look to me like locks for a ML parlay. The only "small chance" ML upset I see is the Bears, but only if the Packers get sloppy.
The ticket won't pay all that much, but as they say it's better than tearing it up.
I only favored Baltimore ML in my plays.
Well good luck, but frankly I just can't see Baltimore, Tampa Bay, or Denver losing those games.
We shall see.
Re: PCGS Grading Set
No, PCGS does not have a grading set any more, they sold it off several years ago. The coins occasionally cross - look for the G#### on the label.
Re: January 2025 - New Year, New Pickup Thread
I've been collecting coin ops since 1994 and it started with this 50s exhibit card vending machine.
Here's my latest.
Baker Novelty Co., c1935, Chicago, IL. Kicker and Catcher
It's 17.5" tall.
The mechanism of action - wheel on right activates the "kick" and the wheel on the left controls the "catcher":
when you catch a ball, you move it to the far left when it triggers a score and "returns" the ball to the kicker for use again. This, IMO, is one "kickass" game!

Well, they haven’t won a Space War yet….
Many people don't realize that WWIII will be fought in outer space. Our adversaries already have killer satellites in orbit that can take out our communications and GPS satellites rendering our ICBM's, cruise missiles, and other weapons systems unusable.
Re: 2023 US Mint Set - Low Mintage
Circulating coin mintages, through November 2024 at least, are at very low levels comparatively. 2.633 billion cents, 69.6 million nickels (lowest in my sixty three years), 373.5 million dimes, 1.533 billion quarters and 27.1 million half dollars.
Mint and Proof set sales have been declining for a couple of decades at least.

Thanks for all your efforts Jack.
Re: 2024 college football thread
Penn State offense is better, Notre Dame defense is better. It's the old "immovable object vs. the irresistable force" scenario.
Re: 1984 Penny with blemish of unknown origin
Looks like the plating was breached, the zinc rotted and created a bubble, which has burst.
Re: 1909 Lincoln Memorial Cent what is your opinion?
It's either rooted in an honest question by the OP about the difference between a proof and a business strike from that era (although he didn't present it that way), or it's a set-up. Either is possible, but I'd probably assume the latter.
I have seen heated discussions on the forum about whether or not a Lincoln cent from that era is a proof. Any confusion by a newbie is understandable, as are assumptions by more seasoned members.
I'm not optimistic about the purpose of this thread, but I'd love to be proven wrong.
