Re: 2024 Gemrate Data - SGC now has 30% of Vintage and PreWar Sports Market
I'd love SGCs operation to remain exactly as it is!!! Best knowledge of preWar and IMHO the overall most eye appealing and classiest slabs in ANY hobby.
P.S. using CGC at this point on vintage is foolish. Probably indicative of the submitter seeking to have a defect slip by unnoticed. Given their slipshod methods odds are that will occur. Only slab junk cards with a junk slabber applies!

This is a bit of an impossible task as accurately distinguishing strike from wear on these really requires having the coin in hand to judge luster and surfaces. There is also the question of whether the coins have been graded consistently in the first place (unlikely if they have been graded over a significant period of time and at both TPGs).
Oh, there's no question about it. The words "pioneer gold" and "consistently graded' don't belong in the same sentence

Terrible game last night. I did not like some of our offensive play calling; also did not like some of the non calls from the refs. Oh well, I think I heard at one time (perhaps on the boards here?) that in the NFL it is very difficult to beat a team 3 times in the same year. Not sure if there are stats to back that up?
I have not liked a lot of O'connell's decisions in the past and last night he was horrible.
Should have kicked 2 Field Goals and his Kicker was kicking the ball towards the sidelines, finally kicking one out of bounds resulting in a gift FG for the Lions right before halftime.
There were a couple of bad calls. It looked obvious that the end zone play should have been a safety.
Bottom line, Lions defense beat up on Vikings offense all night. Darnold played poorly, but the Vikings receivers were rarely open.
Vikings better get it figured out quickly or a great season is going to be over very soon.
GO VIKINGS!

Detroit playing defense. Did not see that coming.
The return of Alex Anzalone has been huge.
Re: The Indiana State Numismatic Association is no more,,,,,,,
It’s unfortunate, but the announcement stated that they could find no volunteers to run the organization. As such, this is similar to what we see in all organizations. That is, if you don’t replace those volunteers with a passion to get it done, you don’t have the organization.

Re: What Constitutes Being A Loyal Fan?
The bottom line is a loyal fan sticks by their team regardless if they are a Super Bowl winner or go 0-17
You stand by your team through thick and thin and I think everyone on CU subscribes to this thought process
Re: 2024 Gemrate Data - SGC now has 30% of Vintage and PreWar Sports Market
When will the SGC cards retain the same value as PSA? They still tend to be almost a point behind in value.
Re: W Quarter Pricing Continues To Be Strong Heading In To 2025
Graded, mostly top pops. We should discuss those prices here.

Re: What Constitutes Being A Loyal Fan?
And I do think Craig and Eric and Pats fans who wanted the number 1 pick are loyal, but it is a foreign concept to me to actually want my team to lose. And like I said that just comes down to not believing the top pick is near as important as everyone else.
Perk I wanted the Chiefs to win but even I’m not dumb enough to want the starters playing and risk injury.
Of course it doesn’t bother me that the Bengals didn’t get in and now a lot of their idiot fans think it’s the Chiefs fault instead of Cincy always sucking in September and October.
