Well George, old time collectors would have called this note Fine in terms of grade. And if you go way back, it would be termed a VG. However under modern grading standards I have seen several similar notes grade VF 20. I think your note has more than a fair chance of grading VF 20. Usually in the VF 20 grade they won't put comments on the back of the holder unless there is very noticeable damage to the note. While this could happen, chances are the holder will be comment free.

I think it is simply the crest for Lubeck... off hand I don't know the history behind it or when it first appeared on Lubeck coinage.

I have purchased $1000s worth of bullion and coins from APMEX. Their prices are reasonable and they accept crypto-currency. So far, I have purchased everything using ETH and haven't encountered anything distasteful throughout the entire process. They are very reputable and reliable and I will continue to purchase from them whenever their ever-changing stock catches my attention and pricing is advantagous.

I just can't stand when they spew lies and have no facts. When they get their news from people that get paid from telling lies instead of FACTS. Cities are burning and people are dying and I am hearing how bad Trump is. HOW F ing CRAZY
