Re: Frosty widgets.
I have to be honest the pre 1971 proof coins tend to feel frostier than the post 1971 proof coins and honestly the laser frosting of todays proofs, while beneficial for some coins which need multiple layers of frosting actually makes the design worse.
Re: Seated Liberty Quarter Proofs—show & tell
Beautiful coin @P0CKETCHANGE. I like the way the central devices really pop in the indirect light view.

My second observation is that PCGS is the dominant player with their table always busy. I am not sure I saw any CACG coins except for the coins displayed by Dell Loy Hansen. I think it is going to be a long time before the CACG coins are seen widely.
Any comments?
You must have not stopped by my table. I had dozens of coins in CACG holders, something like 30. The best coins eventually make into the best holder as one famous TPG used to say…………..
I also saw alot of CACG holdered coins across the bourse so I am not sure where you were looking.
PCGS has been dominant against NGC only in US coins bc of their marketing approach. Both have been loose and strict at different times in their history.
In Ancients and World, NGC is dominant or equal in different sectors. Did you walk the floor in the World/Ancient section of the bourse?
Re: Need advice on shipping coins to new home please, also when dealers drive how to insure coins?
No question, drive it yourself and dont stop and get out of the car. eat while in car if you have to stop
If you have to stay night, dont stay in a dump, and keep the coins with you entire time

Re: How to clean dust off a proof coin?
Canned air isn't compressed air, it releases chemicals that I would imagine could leave spotting just like saliva. Also don't use an air compressor, they throw small amounts of oil.

"I zeroed in on the pock mark to the left of the date."
I should post some "pock mark" CAC coins for you.
Re: 1959 Uncirculated Lincoln Pennies
You'd get a better response with some photos and a price.
