What a grand image that was: young girls paging through filled pages of world coins in 2x2's in binders.

Fairly rare in our world I believe. Absolutely inspirational!

You must have a unique connection to your grand daughters-congratulations!image We want to know more- what are their names and what are their favorites? I look forward to shipping them several coins for their collections.

Thanks! Yes, we have a very good connection - they are great little (quickly getting bigger) girls. I love it when they come over and ask if they can "do coins"image the youngest is Jesse and the older is Jourdan. Jesse seems to like all of the countries- she insists on writing all of the info on the 2x2 by herself, Jourdan always asks if I have any new Mexican coins for her.
There is a coin show this weekend here in Spokane and I will pick up some more for them.

A coin show in Spokane? I know of the one in Couer d'Alene in March. Wow you'll have to keep me posted of shows in Spokane.
    Prost!

Why step over the dollar to get to the cent? Because it's a 55DDO.

Roman and Dimitri - Thank you for the good words - I almost didn't post this because I was thinking it might just be too much off topic - then I remembered that this is the World Coin forum and not like that other forumimage
    Roman - I will PM.

    Thanks again!!

Great stuff. I hope if I am one day lucky enough to have kids they might be interested in collecting coins.

    Thanks for the pics. image

I think my 7-year old daughter would spend more time with coins if she had someone her same age to collect with. She went with me to the Long Beach show last weekend and loved the treasure hunt, but she doesn't spend much time with the coin folders once she's plugged holes with her new finds.
