I'm wondering if there's any assumptions to be drawn from a new obverse die paired with BB-255 terminal reverse die...

Also, since the BB book, the authors tried to keep the emission sequence correct. So is this new marriage really before BB-256 or after in the actual sequence?

Very very cool, it's kind of amazing that previously unknown dies are still being discovered for the draped bust series, just goes to show that there is still neat stuff out there to find. Congrats to the owner and co-discoverers!

It is Amazing! There have been times when the series wasn't heavily collected by die variety, but it's been studied to death for over 100 years. Very cool to see a new one.
