1840 Seated Dollar NewP

Apologies to our hosts for the title to the previous thread... A naive and honest mistake on my part.
Any many thanks to the folks who responded in that thread...
My Newp for the weekend:

There are a few hits here and there but I love the overall look of the coin and the toning for the grade!

<< <i>That's a great example. Finding an attractive, mid-grade 1840 is much more difficult than many realize. Congrats! >>

I see a green XXX sticker on it. That doesn't hurt! Nice.

<< <i>Love that coin. Nice and original. I would like it even better cracked out and in an album! >>
Thanks! There is an open spot in my Dansco 7070 if needed!

Your timing could not have been better, Mark!

Thanks Mark!
<< <i>Great catch, Jeff. I was tempted to bid but I couldn't justify it. I'm glad it went to a good home.

Thanks Lance and I'm glad that someone from this forum was able to pick it up... If not me, then you.
If I had not landed this one I was leaning towards picking up a 1854-O Three Dollar Gold example for my New Orleans type set.
I'm very happy with the choice I made...
I have to applaud that one!
