how not to teletrade

Sales Subtotal: $351.00
Seller's Fee: $192.20
Buyback Fee: $5.00
Net Sales: $153.80

add in the 15 percent buyers fee they also got and on $351 in sales they come out with 249.85

makes me want to quit coin collecting and open an auction house

    Seller's fees are 55%???? image
  • well to clarify this was my first consignment to them and i misinterpreted their fees as 8 percent or $5 minimum thinking that was for my whole consignment not per coin....oh well not out a whole lot ill chalk it up as "schooling fees" lol....would of rather gave away the crap i sold to a yn than to teletrade though
  • Sounds like quite a few lower value items. Teletrade has minimum fee levels per lot. Best to do the math before consigning. It just doesn't make financial sense for some items, unless there is some kind of super promotion going.

Combined fees for multiple small auctions...now it makes sense...

btw .. some sellers are complaining about 12% eBay+PayPal fees?
