OT but if you would be kind to post a coin for my operation tomorrow morning
After a CT scan it turns out I have a "smoldering appendix" which can explain a lot of symptoms I have been having the past 6 years!
I am nervous as heck. The operation is tomorrow morning at 7:30 am.
So post a coin to take my mind off of this.

Back then all the "unnecessary organs" such as your appendix and tonsils
were stripped out when you were a young child
But, nowadays its a very standard surgery and you should be relaxed but its easier said then done
Try to relax and they always give you great relation med's as soon as you check in

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
I am sure all will go well, but i do know the feeling of worry when it comes to operations. I signed form after form for my sons brain surgery at 3, 5 and 9 years of age. He is like every other hard headed teenager nowadays.
I would think after 6 years of issues, the future should be great!!

Mine exploded and being the stoic I am didn't go to the doctor until two days later. Within an hour I was on the operating table. I was in the hospital for 3 weeks and out of school convalescing at home for 3 more. Missing six weeks of 7th grade didn't seem to cause me any long-term problems.

<< <i>I would make a couple of notes with a sharpy of what not to cut on, and circle where the apendix is for good measure.
Don't laugh, it's pretty common procedure now that both the patient and the doctor sign on the skin where the incisions are to be made.

Good luck to you Chris. I'll be thinking of you this morning.
it'll all get done and you'll look at that thing and think, "why all the trouble for such a little pos?"
...the appendix y'all, the appendix!
On a side note joebb21... My mouth literally began salivating at the sight of that coin. I am typically not a fan of that design (commence stone throwing now) but that coin is magnificent. Thanks for sharing.

They say no activities of any kind... It is hard to just sit-up here and type!
Also said no shower for 48 hours (good thing I wear nice deodarant)
Anyways enough of my boring babble about all the pain.
I just want to say thanks to everyone here and for thinking of me.
