Will the Mint put out Mint rolls for the 2010 shield penny?

I thought they would be out by now. Any idea if they will be selling the shield pennies in the Mint rolls? Also, if so, how many is usual for pennies from prior years, not counting the 2009 lincoln presidency series? Thanks

As a tax payer, I recommend you buy as many rolls as possible. 10, 20, 200, 5000, the more the merrier!
Box of 20

one hundred thousand cents?
They make billions of them. If there are only 100,000 this year, I'll eat a roll of them, with wasabi
<< <i>The 2010 Lincoln cent has a metallic content of 2.5 percent copper, with the balance being zinc. The coin will be issued for circulation in quantities to meet the demands of commerce. Numismatic (proof and uncirculated) versions will be included in the United States Mint's annual product offerings. The coin will also be available for sale in two-roll sets this spring. >>

Well, I would wager that, given the theme on this and past experiences, he is talking about 100,000 of the USMint roll sets (ie....50P and 50D).
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

The last couple years has seen huge redemptions of coins from the general public and greatly
reduced demand for coin from commerce. People in the past would be far more likely to just
redeem larger denominations which meant lots of pennies sitting around idle (200,000,000,000
of them). But a disproportionately large share of these would be redeemed during the recess-
ion. A great deal of new production seems to only be to replace the zinc pennies which have
an astronomical attrition rate in circulation. It is possible that pennies wouldn't be needed for
commerce this year if the recovery from the recession is tepid. Even if this occurs though the
sales of these will likely be plenty high enough to prevent them being very scarce and the one
million SF examples in mint sets will hold a lid on prices.
It is a very interesting situation however and one that bears attention.

They are still being processed. They have just passed trough the sandpaper tumbler and need to be hand shoveled into the spotting machine before they are ready for the collector in rolls.
My Wife received them in change a couple of days ago,
they were destined for the "Jar" when I spotted them.
Yes, they have some brown spots and the normal bag marks.
I figured I should stash them in a flip, just in case I don't see
them in circulation. Besides I saw them for sale (.25), at the
Ft. Lauderdale Coin show a couple of weeks ago.
opps......I mean't to post this on another thread......
