And, having seen this coming, rather than continue keeping the one I had bought for us, I sold it. All will remain high grades, only a few will be circulated by a few folks who have money and don't care, and they won't be hard to find.
Replicas of popular items are fine, but to me, don't really go off on their own well.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

I saw quite a few folks buying 10 UHRs each at the ANA show in L.A. I'd imagine that many of them took them right over to the PCGS and NGC tables for grading hoping to score the 70. Would probably even have them back w/in 7 days too if they did it right and could return those that didn't make 69.

do you think the LP1's will go up in price come the end of the series?

Looks like the price of these has been at a steady $80+/box Linky

As for the UHRs, I'm glad I can't afford them or else I would have been stuck with such a "rarity". I still wonder what the future will hold for the LP2's though. I wonder how many of these sets were broken open in search for the 50(?) DD's? Makes me wonder if in a couple years they'll have as much potential in value as the LP1's? (Doubt it)
