"Good Morning Class" -- We Are Family (Sister Sledge)

dorkkarldorkkarl Posts: 12,691 ✭✭✭
We are CAC,
I got all my stickers with me.
We are CAC,
Get up everybody and say!

We are CAC,
I got all my stickers with me.
We are CAC,
Bend your body over and sing!

Everyone can see that we're smarter
Than collectors are,
(CAUSE!) 'Cause we know how to sell and to barter,
Money takes you far!
(ALL!) All the collectors around us they say,
"Can that grade be close?"
Bend down & pay for a sticker,
We're giving Love in a family dose!

We are CAC (hey hey hey hey, yeah)
I got all my stickers with me (oh, ha!, oh, ha!)
We are CAC,
Get up everybody and say (stick it to me!)

We are CAC,
I got all my stickers with me.
We are CAC,
Open up your wallets and pay!

Stick'ring slabs is fun and we've just begun
To take advantage of these new-ooh-bies.
(HIGH!) High hopes we have for the future,
And our sticker fees.
(WE!) No, we don't get embarrassed,
Here's what we call our Golden Rule:
Have faith that you need a sticker, dude!
Your grades are wrong!
This is our family Jewel!

We are CAC (yeah, hey, stick it to me)
I got all my stickers with me (stick it to me!)
We are CAC (ah, I can feel it now!)
Get up ev'rybody and sing! (ooh ooh)

We are CAC (have faith that you need another grade, hey hey),
I got all my stickers with me (ah hey hey!)
We are CAC (get up, get up now!)
Get up ev'rybody and sing (oh hey hey hey!)

We are CAC (I got these stickers on me)
I got all my stickers with me (everybody, they're everywhere)
We are CAC (ouch now)
Get up ev'rybody and sing.........

    I enjoyed the song.

I think that some folks are under the impression that the business model of the CAC is to make money stickering the coins. As I understand it, this is not the case. My assumption is that the stickering process is more of a loss leader, and JA himself told me that he expects that the stickering business should largely dry up after a period of time. The money will be made establishing and running a trading network of CAC-approved coins.

If any of the CAC mavens are available for comment and wish to confirm or refute my assertion, please feel free.

(I mean the real insider mavens, not the wannabes image )
  • Your best effort so far, which is saying something!

    Who is John Galt?
  • Credit where credit is due, dorkkarl, irrespective of content subject. Dorky it might be, but so was "2 beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese,..." and we see how that worked out. Respectfully, John Curlis

I fear you your assumption is only slightly offbase. While some may be under that impression, I think a lot of folks are under the impression the the business model of the CAC is to make money for the dealer/owners who sticker their own coins so they can sell them at a higher price than what they would have normally been able to get for them.
