    Nice post Lee.

    Here's another colorful one. One thing I really like about this one is that there is gold toning on the pan on the obverse and on the bear (a Golden Grizzly) on the reverse. Most of the rest of the color is a soft opalescence.

    The 1925-S California is one of the most aesthetically pleasing designs of all the early commems IMO.
