Apropos of the coin posse/aka caca: "The longer he spoke of his honor, the tighter I held to my purse."
Will it say Augustus Saint-Gaudens like the VDB print?

<< <i>You are the farkin' MAN! I hope you make a bundle with your drawings ..... you have some serious talent. Have your recent sales of your drawings been your first attempt at selling them? You could cash in if you decided to step out of the numismatic area with your drawings. >>
Yes, these two drawings are my first honest attempt at selling any of my art work. It has been quite overwhelming enjoying the appreciation of art in this crowd. I haven't even bothered with eBay yet, not sure how to list them...categories, etc.
My next drawing will be stepping out of bounds on this series a bit, but will be related to money. I believe it will be a door buster of a drawing, something I have wanted to do for ten years now but never had the guts to try it. Now I do.
As for stepping out of the numismatic market, I'm not sure I want to do that as of yet. I have a number of subjects waiting in line that I eventually want to get to, all of them are numismatically related. A friend of mine told me that I should finish a dozen of them then take a table at a national coin show and sell the prints. He said I'd make a mint at it. I'd like to see that happen, but I would need a little more confirmation first that it would work. Sounds good, but I'm not sure it would pan out for me. I'd love nothing more than to be able to exhibit my art to a crowd of thousands.

CD,
Definately wouldn't hurt to try. People never accomplish anything in life without a little effort. In your case, with your skills, piece of cake, IMO. We're the same folks here that frequent the shows. We love it and so will they.

I believe that your friend is correct! Your work is awesome and the folks at coin shows are the target group that would buy them!
You'll be the new voice of "I'm rich beyatch!" at the end of the Chapelle Show!

My wife hates the coin hobby, but can't deny this is a beautiful piece of art. I think we found a happy medium.
