E-bay seller bait and switch!!!

I just received a coin in the mail today I bought on E-Bay. It was a low feedback user, but everybody has to start somewhere. First of all the coin came in an envelope with no return address, it came wrapped in newspaper and here is a picture of the coin in the auction and what I received. I have E-Mailed the seller telling him I want to return the coin, but thought I'd share here..

Link to auction!!!
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

Are you complaining that the one you got is missing the fingerprint? image

Edited to add: Maybe he carried it in his pocket to the post office.

Uh, Marty, did you really expect to get a 1942 proof Walker in that condition for only $11.50? My hunch is that this seller either doesn't have a camera/scanner or is lazy and kyped the pic from another auction.

The seller owes you the coin pictured in his ad or you money back.

Hmmm out of his big seven ratings he was only the seller once. And had lousy pics on that one item. No doubt he stole someone else's pic to post for your WL. He didnt list a refund policy but if he doesnt give you a full refund, threaten fraud to ebay because there is no way he can say the coins are the same. I wondered if anyone ever had the balls to do something like that, guess I know the answer now. Hope it works out for you. Kris

    Well, he say

    << <i>VERY GOOD DETAIL! >>

And I'd say that's a VG Walker. Really though, that's a pretty scummy thing to do. That has to be the worst bait and switch I've seen yet. I agree with Russ. He probably doesn't have a scanner and just "borrowed" a picture. He should refund the whole amount. Please keep us up-dated on what happens.
